Harry Meiteen
Profile
Harry Meiteen is a construction lawyer at JML. He maintains a diverse construction law practice and has represented different stakeholders within the construction industry, including developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
Harry primarily has experience in construction disputes. When it is appropriate, Harry is a firm proponent of alternative dispute resolution. He has effectively assisted clients in resolving their matters through negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations before requiring court intervention. However, where litigation is required, Harry has experience litigating complex lien matters, as well as claims for negligence, breach of contract, breach of trust, delay, deficiencies, and extras.
In addition to his litigation practice, Harry has also provided front-end services. He has assisted clients with project development and has experience drafting and negotiating bespoke and standard-form construction contracts.
Prior to joining JML, Harry practiced construction law at a national firm in Vancouver.
