Trevor O’Connor
Profile
Trevor O’Connor is a lawyer whose practice is focused on construction law and commercial litigation. He has worked with clients on a wide variety of construction matters, including builder’s liens, professional negligence claims, claims for delays and extras, and other contract disputes.
Trevor has represented clients in the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Provincial Court, and as co-counsel in private arbitration. He has also assisted his clients with resolving matters through other forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. Recognizing that not all disputes are alike, Trevor is committed to providing efficient, practical, and cost-effective solutions tailored to the facts, issues, and possible outcomes of each case.
Trevor graduated from Peter A. Allard School of Law in 2022, where he received the Barbara Bluman Memorial Prize in Dispute Resolution for his performance in negotiation and mediation courses. After graduation, Trevor completed his articles with JML before joining the firm as an associate in 2023.
Prior to law school, Trevor worked in residential construction as a framing carpenter. Away from the office, he continues to enjoy carpentry, restoring antique tools, and playing hockey.
